Federal W-4 Form Requirements:
The
IRS will release the 2007 version of its mandatory Federal W-4
form. All employers are required to have the most recent version
of the W-4 form available for employees.
The Department of Homeland
Security has also recently updated the mandatory I-9 form for
the first time since 1991. Employers must have a correctly completed
I-9 form for every employee. Failure to present the form to government
officials upon request can lead to fines of over $1,000 per employee.
Rambana &
Ricci, P.A. can work on a retainer basis or ad hoc to ensure W-4
and I-9 compliance.
